Designed for those with a Bachelor’s degree in physical, chemical, or biological sciences, our Laboratory Residency Programs provide both classroom and hands-on learning that will prepare you for an important, specialized clinical role supporting our world-class patient care.
Medical Lab Scientist Residency
- Prepares you for the national Medical Laboratory Scientist certifying examination
- Year-long residency
- Coursework covering phlebotomy, lab safety, chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood bank
- Guided learning schedules with competency assessments to keep learning on track
- Train for either a Categorical or Generalist certification
Histotechnologist Residency
- Prepares you for the national Histotechnologist certifying examination
- Year-long residency
- Instruction in partnership with Albany State University
- Coursework covering pathology and histology
- Guided learning schedules with competency assessments to keep learning on track
Pharmacy
- Choose inpatient or outpatient settings with level programs and flexible shift options
- Ensure the safe, effective and timely use of medications for our patient populations
- Collaborate with medical staff and clinicians via Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee

Quality Improvement
