Northside Hospital named one of America’s Best Companies by Forbes.

Northside Hospital has been named one of the top companies in the United States by Forbes magazine.

The health system is the highest-ranked hospital organization — and one of only 10 health systems — included in the second annual America’s Best Companies 2026 list, published Nov. 19. Northside ranked 11th among 16 Georgia companies on the list of 500.

“This ranking is a direct reflection of the talent and dedication of our employees,” said Bridget Green, Northside Hospital’s vice president of human resources. “They’ve created a culture centered on exceptional patient care, and they deserve this recognition.”

Northside Hospital is among the fastest-growing health care organizations in the Southeast, with more than 32,000 employees and 4,000 physicians across its system. It is one of the four largest employers in metro Atlanta, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

Forbes evaluated U.S. companies with more than 7,000 employees, reviewing more than 100 metrics across 11 categories, including financial performance, customer sentiment, employee ratings, cybersecurity and sustainability.

Northside has also appeared on Forbes’ 2025 lists of America’s Best Employers by State and America’s Best Employers for Healthcare Professionals.
In addition, workplace culture and compensation site Comparably named Northside one of its Best Places to Work in 2025. The health system ranked among large employers (more than 500 employees) in categories such as Best Company for Women, Best Company for Diversity, Best Outlook and Best Career Growth.
